Medical scribe qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer skills preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Knowledge or experience with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Must know how to write medical history properly
  • International Coding of Diseases (ICD) coding a plus
